Yes, and it's one of the two things that make me proud to be Dutch: Donkervoort & Spyker.

Let me summarize the article for you:
Michael Düchting and his team, the German importer of Donkervoort, have spent two years to improve the D8 180 RS step by step.
Now it comes with a 370 hp Audi 1.8-liters bi-turbo engine and a curb weight of only 670 kg. Further improvents can besexpected for next year, the suspension was 1.5 cms too low for the Nurburgring, abumpy track on which is touched the ground several times and also jumped up so that it lsot grip from time to time. It could have been more stabil and so more comfortable to handle. Michael Düchting so is confident to further improve that time and also to defend it against the Carrera GT and others.

speaking of Spyker, how is their C10 project coming along? The V10 powered supercar?

Is paper supposed to magically wrap around rock and leave it immobile? Why the hell can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody. A rock would tear that shit up in 2 seconds. When I play rock paper scissors, I always choose rock. Then when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist and say, oh shit Im sorry, I thought paper would protect you, asshole.

He had the record before, drove the Carrera GT to 7:32.44 mins.
His daughter is much more happy because of her dad performing that well.

The D8 RS in that configuration already has beaten the Radical SR3 Turbo at the Nurburgring and the Hockenheimring!

the sr3 turbo had the previous record for a road legal car I believe, at 7:19 how come you didn't put it in the list?? BTW it used Dunlop type R tyres which are road legal unlike this car so its still the record holder IMO. heres a link: http://www.radicalmotorsport.com/news_folder/nordchliefe/index.php
Add me to the list.
